在奈米學士班,不但可以同時向國際事務處或電機學院國際處申請交換出國、成績更只要通過一定門檻,就能向學校申請獎學金。美國、歐洲、洲任你遨遊,出國為期一學年的交換體驗將如此容易而且輕而易舉!

n the program, you can apply to study abroad if your grades meet the qualifications. Such study is offered through the National Chiao Tung University International Office for university-level exchange or the College of Electrical and Computer Engineering International Office for college-level exchange. 本班優秀學生都會找教授進行專題研究,從電子、光電、生科、到材料都是我們專題的研究範圍,各個邊做邊學,學到的比原文書裡多更多。

而我們還有更多系上的活動,全系導聚、大夜烤、定期的生日會⋯⋯等等,除了直屬之外的學長姊,彼此也可以像家人一般的熟悉,絕對讓你感受到像家一般的溫馨。如此精彩萬分的大學生活,你絕對不能錯過!

In their spare time, the outstanding students in this program perform research on a specific topic with a professor they choose themselves. In the spirit of crossing disciplines, all 4 areas − electronics, photonics, biological science and technology and materials − are all available as research areas for our students. Learning by doing will teach the essential knowledge that is not contained in the textbooks, such as hands-on practice and underlying technical subjects

奈米學士班擁有完整的跨領域學習環境,專業課程橫跨電子、光電、材料、生科四大領域。
除了基礎的核心課程外,還能選擇其中兩個領域作為專業選修。

在廣泛學習到各領域的課程後,
讓你在未來有不同於本科系畢業生的獨到觀點,成為不同領域人才間溝通的橋樑。
再者因為有專業領域的選修,而更加深了對該領域的認識並成為你畢業後的專長。

The professional curriculum design of the program spans four colleges − Engineering, Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering and Biological Science and Technology − but differs from the curricula of typical departments. The students in this program will not transfer to other departments; they all stay in the same program until graduation. Starting in the freshmen year, students will be exposed to basic courses in various areas, such as modern physics, organic chemistry, electronics and biology. Juniors and seniors can select 2 areas for future study. Thus, students not only have a solid foundation in a variety of disciplines but also gain in-depth professional knowledge in their own areas of interest.

奈米學士班除了培育全方位跨領域奈米科技優秀人才之外,開設「奈米科學與工程實驗」特色課程,進行奈米相關先進實驗,挑戰尺度之下的無窮無盡,為本班學生獨享。

而也因為奈米學士班所擁有的專屬24小時開放之教學實驗室、學生讀書室、圖書室、以及研討室,讓學生學習無往不利,能夠不再受制於時間限制的盡情討論、研習、或者任何活動。

The program not only trains well-rounded interdisciplinary talents in nanotechnology but also offers the unique class known as “Experiments in nano science and engineering”. Only students in the program can take advantage of this class and conduct advanced nano-experiments under the endless challenge of scale. In addition, because the 24-hour teaching laboratories, student study room, library and seminar rooms belong to the program, students study without distraction and enjoy discussion, research, or activities without the pressures of time.

學士班,係學系而起
Degree programs, rising from departments

與現有之學系相同,奈米學士班畢業生亦取得我國合法之學士學位,均被國外學校認可。當初成立學士班的原因,最主要也就是為了跨出單一學系、單一學院領域的學習範疇框架。

如今知識經濟快速發展,專業跨領域整合益形重要,奈米學士班將為學生帶來深入的專業領域課程,同時進行廣泛的教育學習。

Similar to the existing departments, graduates from this program also obtain a bachelor’s degree that is certified by the state and recognized by foreign schools. The most important reason to establish the program was to go beyond the “single department, single college” framework of study areas. Because of the rapid development of a knowledge economy that is occurring today, interdisciplinary integration is becoming increasingly important. This program will provide students with in-depth courses to gain expertise as well as extensive education and learning.
